Albemarle County Fair

Summer memories are created at county fairs, and the Albemarle Fair is back! It will be full of traditional livestock judging, craft exhibits, live music, and food trucks! Plan for three days of old-fashioned fun, and come to see entries of cakes, pies, soap, and all kinds of art.
Virginia Theater Festival

Returning with the first live performances since 2019 is the newly re-named Virginia Theater Festival (formerly the Heritage Theater Festival). Productions this summer include an updated version of “Little Women” by playwright Kate Hamill and in August, the one-woman show “No Fear and Blues Log Gone: Nina Simone.” All productions are affiliated with the University of Virginia.

VA Festival of the Wheel

This year’s festival theme is “Cars of the Autobahn.” You’ll see car classes like Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and others! The VA Festival of the Wheel this year will support the UVA Cancer Center Patient Care Fund. There are three days of fun events.
