4 Pumpkin Patches for your fall in Charlottesville!

It’s the time to go out and pick a pumpkin- the perfect festive activity! Whether you like to decorate with pumpkins just the way they are or enjoy decorating them with your family, there are many spots in C’Ville to find the perfect, plump pumpkin! Here are a few of our favorite:

Chile’s Orchard: Enjoy ice cream, cider donuts, pick apples, and more importantly, pick your pumpkins right from the patch! Chile’s also has a great events calendar that you can check out and see if anything is going on when you plan to go!

Carter’s Mountain: Hay rides, apples, hard cider, and mountain views- all while picking your pumpkin! This is a similar experience to Chile’s (it is owned by the same family) but you get a view of Charlottesville from the top of a mountain. And of course, plenty of pumpkins to pick from!

Critzer Family Farm: Right near Blue Mountain Brewery (a great place for a fall beer after pumpkin picking), pick your own pumpkin from their patch, and enjoy their fresh produce at their little farm market!

Liberty Mills Farm: In Somerset, VA, a nice, scenic drive from the inn, enjoy a huge pumpkin patch, activities for kids, and the largest corn maze in all of Virginia! Perfect for a festive fall afternoon!

We hope you enjoy your pumpkin picking and the rest of your fall!
