When you visit Charlottesville, you’ll find several places for shopping and dining. The Historic Downtown area is a go-to for most, and Barracks Road is another area great for shopping. However, if you’re looking for a great shopping area along with some other options for activities, the newer Stonefield shopping center is a great spot!
The Shops at Stonefield are found just a short drive from the Inn off of 29 North. The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, with a relaxed but somewhat upscale feel. You’ll find shopping that ranges from Pier 1 Imports, Williams-Sonoma, and Pottery Barn to Whimsies, Vineyard Vines, and Lululemon. You’ll also find an Alex and Ani shop, Kendra Scott, and Brooks Brothers. These aren’t the only shops, but they are some of our favorites to browse around when we’re at Stonefield.
If you’re looking to not only shop, but also spend the evening at Stonefield, you can find a Regal Cinemas Movie Theater with plenty of movies showing at all times. This theater is newer, as is the entire plaza, so you’ll enjoy a clean and comfortable movie viewing experience. If you’re not feeling a movie, one of the newest spots in the Shops at Stonefield is Muse Paintbar. Here you’ll find a painting experience that anyone can enjoy, lead by a talented instructor. You can also enjoy a glass of wine from their winebar while you paint.
Of course, all of the activities and shopping that can be found at Stonefield can be topped off with great food from restaurants like Burger Bach and Burton’s Grill among several others.
Where would you want to shop or visit at the Shops at Stonefield? We’d love to hear what interests you, and we’d love for you to stay with us to enjoy not only these shops, but all of the great spots for shopping and dining around C’Ville!
