It’s time for my favorite fall festival. While some of my friends may think it’s a wine event or Oktoberfest it is not. I really enjoy the Crozet Arts & Craft Festival every October. The festival is this Saturday and Sunday October 8th & 9th. One of the days I go and the other Dan goes – we take pictures and send to each other to decide what we want to buy. By rotating our days we have coverage here at the inn.
This year I am looking to buy some gifts to give to friends for Christmas. There are also a couple of birthdays coming up that need presents. I can’t think of a better place to go looking for them than the Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival. There will be over 100 fine art and craft exhibitors this weekend. There are painters, jewelry makers, potters, photographers, clothing makers, to name a few. Plus live demonstrations – blacksmithing, wood turning, wood carving, pottery and oil painting. It should be fun to watch these artists demonstrate their craft.
Not to mention the food vendors as well. Dan always has to get a bag of kettle corn from Blue Ridge Kettle Korn – it is fabulous! And this year they are selling local beers and wines!
Below are a few Fox items we purchased at previous festivals to adorn the inn.
