Holiday Heritage Parade – November 23
What’s the most exciting way to ring in the holiday season? How about a small-town parade? Complete with floats, marching bands, festival queens, animal rescue units, and even Santa Claus, this parade near the Downtown Mall from 10am-12 noon will be sure to delight both young and young-at-heart.

Grand Illumination of the Community Christmas Tree – November 29
If you are entranced by the twinkle of holiday lights, consider attending the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. The lighting is expected to begin at 6pm, and seasonal music will kick off the holiday season.

VT Game – November 30
Some folks say it’s not truly football season until the weather is chilly. By the end of November, we should be seeing much cooler temperatures – the perfect weather for the UVA Cavaliers to host longstanding rivals, Virginia Tech, for the Commonwealth Cup at Scott Stadium. No matter what colors you’ll be wearing, it’s sure to be a good time.

Whether you’re heading to Charlottesville in November for arts, ambiance, or entertainment, we think you’ll agree that this month has a lot to offer. Let us know how else we at Foxfield Inn can make your visit memorable.
