The 31st Annual Crozet Arts & Crafts Fall Festival is this weekend, October 13 & 14. Over 100 of the finest artists and craftspeople from around the area will be whether the sun is shining or it is raining. These artisans offer up one of a kind, handmade items like pottery, textiles, leather, glass, wood, metal, photography and art. We purchased a “red fox” pottery mask there two years ago. It looks great on our bookshelves in the Gathering Room. I’m sure you would find something that would look wonderful in your own home.
There will be live entertainment, great food, good wine and lots to look at – original artwork, photography galore.
If you are hungry there are many food vendors this year. This is the only place where I have had kettle corn that I’ve liked. It is from the best kettle corn around and is brought to us by Blue Ridge Kettle Corn, Charlottesville. If you are looking for a great lunch there are so many choices from the food vendors – everything from burgers, hot dogs, quesadillas, crab cake sandwiches, Italian sausages, pork and chicken BBQ, – you name it is there.
Festive fare, live entertainment, children’s activities, wine tasting and more! Enjoy a day in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains and marvel at the Virginia countryside.
The next time you are in the area stay with us at Foxfield Inn and we will help you find interesting events and activities to make your visit memorable.
