What a difference this weekend was compared to last. The bluebirds and robins returned to Charlottesville instead of more snow flakes. We felt sorry for these returning birds as they looked so confused to see all the snow on the ground. They’ve enjoyed the birdfeeders and the holly berries but when the wind kicked in they sure didn’t seem too happy. However, with their return we are hopeful that no more snow weekends when guests can’t get here occur. Sure we’ll have the occasionally flurry (or 2-4 inches) but after the record setting snow falls this year what’s an inch or two?
