What a lazy day – relaxing late in bed, rising to a wonderful breakfast, leisurely check-out or off to Monticello. Our guests had a memorable New Year’s Eve – sipping Bailey’s Irish Cream while enjoying the outdoor hot tub, ringing in the new year while listening to favorite music in the Jacuzzi, dancing the night away at several restaurants and enjoying a late night supper with friends. The conversation around the breakfast table this morning just flowed with the stories they were telling each other and us. Our favorite – meeting a new friend while enjoying each other company on the dance floor, visiting them during the day today to see the new friend’s dog.
It was a beautiful morning with the fog. Luckily it has burned off and the guests who are hiking Old Rag in the Blue Ridge Mountains have a good day for it.
It’s time to enjoy January and escape from the cabin fever that occurs this time of year. Why not come stay with us, visit some wineries and see the only World Heritage House in the USA – Monticello.
