Your Innkeeper Brigitte welcomes you to Foxfield Inn. My goal is to provide warm hospitality in a cozy and relaxing environment. I will give my best to make your stay at Foxfield Inn an unforgettable and rejuvenating experience.

I spent most of my professional life as a Human Resources expert in the German financial industry. What I enjoyed most about being an HR professional was having a direct impact on creating an environment that people enjoyed and inspired them to develop their potential to the fullest. I also know, that in today’s demanding work environment it is quite important to have places where one can go to relax, enjoy good food, recharge the batteries and reconnect with the most important people in one’s life.

I am convinced that my dream of living in the U.S., my love for cooking and all those aforementioned aspects come perfectly together in running a Bed and Breakfast. And what better place could there be for such an endeavor than the lovely Foxfield Inn in Charlottesville with its historic sites, delectable wineries, great restaurants, Shenandoah National Park’s opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and last but not least the University of Virginia?

From North, US Route 29 South towards Charlottesville to exit for Barracks Road. Turn right onto Barracks Road. From South, Route 29 North to Barracks Road Exit, turn left onto Barracks Road. Follow directions below from Barracks Road.

I-64 to Exit 118B, US Route 29 North to exit for Barracks Road. Turn left onto Barracks Road.

Inn is 5.2 miles. Follow Barracks Road west as road becomes Garth Road. Follow Garth past Foxfield Steeplechase Field on left, then the Hunt Country Corner Store on right. We are 5/8 mile further.

Watch for the lighted sign at entrance on right. Follow the lane up the hill, bear to left toward Inn. House on your right is a private residence. Park anywhere along the outside of our circular drive.
