Foxfield Inn Closed until April 22nd
Foxfield Inn is a small Bed & Breakfast with only five guest rooms and ample space for social distancing in a tranquil environment. In light of the situation we had already announced last week to not take bookings for more than a maximum of four rooms or eight guests.
But with regard to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and what we all need to do in order to minimize the threat of a potential infection, I decided to close Foxfield Inn until April 22nd. I will closely monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary.
This decision has not come lightly as I looked forward to welcoming guests soon who had booked a stay in March and April. But I feel that everyone has to step up and take responsibility to do the right thing. Given the circumstances, I trust that you understand my decision.
As a small business it means the world to me if those of you who are directly affected by the inn’s closing could consider accepting a gift certificate instead of a refund. The gift certificate will be good for the deposit already charged and has no expiration date so you can reschedule your visit anytime in the future. For the refund, any cancellation fees will be waived.
For any other cancellations our regular cancellation policy applies.
I hope to welcome you as soon as the situation has calmed down and it is safe to travel again.
Until then please stay healthy and safe!
WELCOME to Foxfield Inn!
At my modern and elegant bed and breakfast in Charlottesville, VA, I love to pamper and treat our guests with a distinctive blend of comfort and luxury in a calm, rejuvenating environment. Foxfield Inn is just the place to get away and enjoy a relaxing change of pace. Escape and enjoy your getaway from the hectic pace of daily life at my inn, which is located in the beautiful horse country just outside of Charlottesville.
There is so much to discover in picturesque Charlottesville and Albemarle County that you will want to stay a while. For the history devotee, there is Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, James Monroe’s Highland, James Madison’s Montpelier, and Michie Tavern. For the wine enthusiast, there are more than 20 wineries within a short drive to tour and sample their incredible wines (plus multiple craft breweries and distilleries). Outdoor fans can enjoy activities such as hiking, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, and bird watching. Last but not least, there is the University of Virginia – renowned for its Rotunda, School of Medicine, School of Law, and the Darden Graduate School of Business, not to mention its Cavaliers sports teams.
Each of my 5 beautiful and contemporary guestrooms offers a calming retreat to ensure an unforgettable stay. For your romantic getaway, stay in one of my rooms with a fireplace and two-person Jacuzzi tub. Awake refreshed in the morning to some wonderful coffee and delectable signature breakfast.
Come join me at Foxfield Inn and leave renewed with memories of an experience that will last.
I look forward to seeing you,
